1. Introduction

Welcome to BeyondCampus.co.in (“BeyondCampus”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). BeyondCampus is a technology platform that facilitates information exchange and communication between students, tenants, room seekers, roommates, landlords, property owners, and PG (Paying Guest) operators regarding rental accommodation near educational institutions.

By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

To use BeyondCampus, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• Be capable of forming a binding legal contract under applicable Indian law.
• Not be barred from receiving services under the laws of India.
• Provide accurate and complete registration information.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account on BeyondCampus, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

BeyondCampus reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are deemed inactive for an extended period.

4. User Responsibilities

All users of BeyondCampus agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and while using the platform.
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes related to accommodation discovery and communication.
• Not misrepresent their identity, property ownership, or any other material facts.
• Respect the privacy and rights of other users.
• Not engage in harassment, spam, or abusive behavior toward other users.

5. Property Listings

Property owners and PG operators who list properties on BeyondCampus are solely responsible for the accuracy of listing information including but not limited to property descriptions, photographs, pricing, availability, amenities, and location details.

BeyondCampus does not own, rent, lease, or manage any property listed on the platform. We do not verify the ownership, legality, condition, or availability of any listed property. All listings are provided on an “as-is” basis.

6. Roommate Matching & Student Code of Conduct

The “Roommates Looking for Roommates” feature allows verified students and room seekers to create profiles expressing interest in finding roommates or shared accommodations. BeyondCampus facilitates discovery and communication between potential roommates but does not guarantee compatibility, personal safety, reliability, or the accuracy of any user-provided information.

Strict Conduct & Content Guidelines for Roommate Listings:

• Explicit Content Prohibition: Users are strictly forbidden from uploading, posting, or transmitting explicit, sexually suggestive, obscene, pornographic, violent, or abusive text, photographs, or media anywhere on the platform.
• No Nuisance or Harassment: Any form of harassment, stalking, bullying, intimidation, unwanted sexual advances, hate speech, or malicious behavior towards other users will be met with zero tolerance.
• Authentic Identity: Students must provide true, accurate, and unedited personal and accommodation details. Impersonation of other students, flat owners, or individuals is strictly prohibited.
• Privacy & Doxxing Protection:Users must not publish, leak, or share another person's private contact information, photos, or personal identity without explicit written consent.

7. Communication Between Users

BeyondCampus provides tools for users to communicate, express interest, and share contact information. All communications between users are at their own discretion and risk. BeyondCampus does not monitor, mediate, or take responsibility for the content of user communications.

8. Contact Information Sharing

When users share their contact information (phone numbers, email addresses) on the platform, they do so voluntarily. BeyondCampus is not responsible for any consequences arising from the sharing of personal contact information between users.

9. No Brokerage Policy

BeyondCampus currently operates without charging brokerage fees to any party. We do not act as a broker, agent, or intermediary in any rental transaction. The platform serves solely as a technology tool for information exchange.

10. Future Platform Fees

BeyondCampus reserves the right to introduce nominal platform fees, premium listing options, subscription plans, paid verification services, or featured property placements in the future. Users will be notified of any such changes in advance, and continued use of the platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Verification Responsibility

Users must independently verify:

• Property ownership and legal title.
• The identity and credentials of landlords, property owners, and tenants.
• Terms of any rental agreement before signing.
• The accuracy of listed amenities, pricing, and property conditions through physical inspection.
• All deposits, advance payments, and rent amounts before making any financial commitment.

12. Payments and Deposits

BeyondCampus does not process, hold, or manage any payments, deposits, or rent transactions between users. All financial transactions occur directly between the parties involved. BeyondCampus bears no responsibility for any payment disputes, losses, or financial disagreements.

13. Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from:

• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings.
• Impersonating any person or entity.
• Using the platform for any illegal purpose.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or platform systems.
• Scraping, harvesting, or collecting user data without authorization.
• Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful code through the platform.
• Engaging in discriminatory practices in property listings or roommate selection based on caste, religion, race, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic.

14. User Generated Content

Users retain ownership of content they post on BeyondCampus. By posting content, you grant BeyondCampus a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform. BeyondCampus reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

15. Intellectual Property

The BeyondCampus platform, including its design, logos, interface, code, and all related intellectual property, is owned by BeyondCampus. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without explicit written permission.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BeyondCampus and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of the platform or any transaction between users.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

BeyondCampus is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

18. Privacy Protection

Your use of BeyondCampus is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the platform, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

19. Zero Tolerance Policy, Account Suspension & Legal Actions

BeyondCampus maintains a strict Zero Tolerance Policy against any form of nuisance, explicit content posting, digital harassment, identity impersonation, extortion, or privacy violations.

BeyondCampus reserves the unreserved right to immediately suspend, deactivate, or permanently ban any user account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, upon receiving reports or detecting any violation of these Terms.

20. Third Party Services

BeyondCampus may integrate with or link to third-party services including but not limited to authentication providers, mapping services, and hosting providers. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. BeyondCampus is not responsible for the practices of any third-party service.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BeyondCampus, its founders, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

22. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

23. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India.

24. Updates to Terms

BeyondCampus reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the platform or via email. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

25. Mess / Food Services Disclaimer

BeyondCampus acts only as a facilitator and/or coordinator for Mess/Food Services provided by third-party mess operators or service providers. The following terms apply to all Mess/Food Services accessible through or associated with the BeyondCampus platform:

1. The preparation, quality, hygiene, storage, handling, and serving of food shall remain the sole responsibility of the respective Mess Operator. BeyondCampus shall not be liable or responsible for any food poisoning, allergic reaction, illness, injury, health complications, or any other loss or damage arising from the consumption of food provided by the Mess.
2. Students are solely responsible for informing the Mess Operator of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, or special nutritional requirements. BeyondCampus shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from the failure to disclose such information.
3. BeyondCampus does not guarantee the quality, taste, nutritional value, quantity, availability, or suitability of any food served by the Mess.
4. The Mess Operator may modify menus, meal schedules, pricing, service standards, or operating procedures at its discretion. BeyondCampus shall not be liable for any such changes.
5. Any complaints, disputes, refund requests, compensation claims, or service-related issues concerning the Mess shall be addressed directly between the student and the respective Mess Operator. BeyondCampus is not a party to such disputes.
6. BeyondCampus shall not be liable for any acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct, service interruptions, or failures on the part of the Mess Operator, its employees, contractors, or suppliers.
7. Students use Mess facilities entirely at their own risk. By availing of Mess services, students acknowledge and agree that BeyondCampus shall have no liability arising from or related to the provision of food or Mess services.
8. BeyondCampus reserves the right to change, replace, suspend, or discontinue any Mess service provider at any time without prior notice and shall not be liable for any inconvenience arising therefrom.
9. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BeyondCampus expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, relating to the Mess services and food provided by third-party operators.
